Ever have one of those moments where God makes it particularly clear how big He is and how small and insignifigant your life is, yet He loves you with a love that we have never known before or could image. This is some jacked up math that if you stop and think about it, shouldn't work out, but somehow through God's amazing grace and love for us, it does...it is in those moments where I can do nothing but stop and lift a hand and worship God simply for who He is...I love those moments...
I had one of those moments this past week when I was reading through the first chapter of Hebrews. As a letter written to a group of Christians goingh through a rough time, the writer starts of with a bang reminding these people...and us...that Jesus is the "exact representation" of God, and He sustains everything that has ever been, is, or ever will be by the words...of...His...mouth...wow.
This was a passage that just stuck out to me as a read and I haven't stopped thinking about it...it was one of those moments...
This Thursday night at 7pm, since we didn't meet on Sunday night as a group, meaning we don't have a topic to dive deeper into, lets meet together at our house for some worship in music, scripture reading, and prayer. Come as you are...you may be totally on fire for God, the farest thing from Him, or somewhere inbetween. But come and hang out. This night isn't going to be about us...there isn't going to be any games or cute activites to get us thinking. We are simply going to sit around the fire and worship the one who hold us all together by the simple yet powerful words of His mouth...hope you can make it.
How To Prepare:
1. Come with your bible and some verses or passages that you love, ready to share with everyone else
2. Come with a few songs in mind
3. Come ready to pray
3. Come ready to meet with God...
